Where did our name come from?

We’re called Q’Apel for the Qu’Appelle River, a waterway that winds through Saskatchewan, Canada. Why? Because this pristine river charts a winding path, full of twists, turns, and straightaways alike. That’s what we do, too. Our cutting-edge products—neurological catheters, specifically—are designed to navigate the twists and turns of the brain’s neurovasculature, empowering therapeutic thrombectomy and cerebral aneurysm devices to deliver life-changing outcomes.

ZEBRA6

MMA Embo via Ulnar Access

Patient presented for a bilateral MMA embolization via access of the ulnar artery. Complex and highly tortuous anatomy posed potential challenges in access. Access was achieved with Zebra 6F 95cm over a hairpin loop of the common carotid highlighting the excellent trackability of Zebra. MMAe was treated with nBCA.

quote iconOne of the biggest challenges of the proximal anatomy is that hairpin loop... in this access case I was able to and a testament to how well the Zebra tracks.

ZEBRA7

M1 Stroke Thrombectomy

Patient presented with a left MCA occlusion. Zebra 7F allowed for versatility in aspiration catheter use and physician performed two passes with manual aspiration ADAPT technique resulted in TICI 2C recanalization.

quote iconZebra was quite stable and flexible, really the right sweet spot and it was very easy to switch from radial to femoral.

Zebra Highlights

Zebra provides a new level of versatility in my base camp catheter setup. The unique design balances a minimal outer profile while maintaining a superior ID for a wide range of interventional procedures.
